Somehow, I was born Mr. Positive. And that shines through a lot of my music. In recent years, I’ve learned that being nice and positive all the time isn’t exactly the best thing because the world really sucks sometimes, and sucky people take advantage of niceness. So I DECIDED, the place for relentless positivity is RIGHT HERE in the music!

I recorded a special live performance in Oak Park, Illinois with just me and my guitar! It’s a live EP with acoustic versions of a few new songs, old songs, and a wild, swingy twist on Frog Beards called Frog Beards Blues… I think it’s a great way to show you what I can do!
I’ll also send you digital files of the audio AND the videos from that day if you want to see me in action.

Let’s be frank. Positivity is out of fashion, and that SUCKS. I hate it. It’s so easy and thrilling to be negative, especially with news headlines and social media posts that will say whatever they have to in order to get your attention, no matter how bad it may make you feel later. I get it: everything’s not sunshine and rainbows. But within song, there are no rules. I can build that happy world for you. I can be your escape. And I can also be honest with you and with myself.
